Salim BERBACHE is an international expert on innovation and a co-founding partner of UCLab Studio. He is certified as a Chief Innovation Officer by the Global Innovation Institute, for which he also acts as a representative in Africa. He brings to the table his extensive professional experience and proven expertise in innovation management and Design Thinking, with a focus on customer experience. To date, he has supported around forty technology-oriented startups in their development and acceleration processes.
Salim is involved in national and international programs (e.g., with MAScIR, GIZ/CE3M, Anima, The Next Society, Global Innovation Management Institute, etc.), aimed at enhancing the skills of young entrepreneurs and their teams to help them develop their creative abilities to generate new ideas and turn them into concrete, marketable innovations for a target market.
In his previous roles and responsibilities at Ucotra Consulting, Salim also mastered areas of expertise related to economic intelligence and strategic foresight, risk management, information security, and compliance management.
Finally, Salim has long headed TUV Certification Morocco, whose shares he sold to the German group TUV Rheinland. He capitalizes on several entrepreneurial experiences, which he readily shares with the startups supported by UCLAB Studio.
